Stand For Elizabeth Wong

Stand For Elizabeth Wong

Selangor Exco YB Elizabeth Wong nude photos was unfortunately circulated in public. The PKR State Assemblywoman had lodge a police report regarding the matter.

The people who released her photos are simply offended Elizabeth's privacy,
and they should be charged.

Probably, this is a dirty politic tactic,
which trying to end Elizabeth politic life,
or to pollute Pakatan Rakyat.

Elizabeth do nothing wrong and shouldn't resign.
Elizabeth is a single lady and
she is not same with formal Health Minister Dato' Seri Dr. Chua Soi Lek.
Dr. Chua is a married man and his scandal was "disloyal" to his wife.
Elizabeth was having her private life with (ex-)boyfriend.

Khir Toyo and Syed Hamid shown no sympathy to Elizabeth.
The stupid nonsense from Khir Toyo said that
Elizabeth should resigned for her improper behaviour.
Meanwhile, idiot Syed Hamid said that Pakatan Rakyat have many problems representative.

The stupid idiot wording from Khir Toyo and Syed Hamid
proved they are male chauvinist.
People no longer need this kind of "out dated representative"
and should kick these two bustards out in coming election.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, LET'S STAND FOR THE VICTIM YB ELIZABETH WONG

WE SYMPATHY, WE SUPPORT!!

There was a tinge of hypocrisy in Elizabeth Wong’s tear jerker press conference so contrived and affected as it was. In it she makes an admission about an allegation only at that point, where none was yet necessary. No one had as yet convincingly demonstrated or led any proof of the existence of nude photos of her. In admitting to it by her conduct she accepts the truth of the allegations against her. At least that’s the inference she now compel us to draw by her actions or inaction on the matter.

It is also evident that the purpose of her whole press conference and her failure to deny or to assert the substance of the allegations about her personal life supposedly immortalised in electronic or celuloid form was to elicit sympathy and the adulation she associate with the office she hold.

Such histrionics is however to be expected of Elizabeth with her long history of courting the media to further her personal causes like the other narcissistic parliamentarianTheresa Kok. Her contrived grief is also predictable. The euphoria that accompanied her and her party’s novelty election into office quickly degenerated into an internal orgy of bickering by a foul and avaracious group of mudslingers with little or no real political objectives other than wild accusations which they failed to substantiate ending in the debacle that is Perak.

More important the failure of her group to demonstrate a clear and unequivocal agenda that would be an alternative to the current BN has driven her credibility into the sewers of politics where she find herself now crying foul struggling to get out. There was a well orchestrated chorus of “dont resign” much like the cursory “encore” at a boring ballet not genuine yet repeated because it is the thing to do.

Elizabeth Wong took an alternative morality with her into government. Accompanying her was an impressionable permissive generation of youth in tow who expect the party to rage on forever. Thats youth and she failed to rea dor manage it better. And with the privileges of her office comes responsibility. She failed to discharge that responsibility to a standard expected of an elected member of parliament. But then so too did most of her Pakatan colleagues who stand metaphorically naked for all to see. Full of rhetoric, empty promises and threats, but little if any of substance other than ‘self help’ and empty cliched political verses.

This is not the first dalliance of hers where she clearly left herself open to the sort of perfidious actions of a former lover through her own dance with lust. Power as Henry Kissinger once said “is the greatest aphrodisiac”. She attracted it not once but also flaunted it as often as there was an audience.

This is not an attack on her sexuality if that what she are trying to make of this situation. She simply fell on her own sword. It is of her promiscuous behaviour which she feely attempts to equate with women’s rights and privacy that she claims is at the core of this situation. And yes there are tose who are conservative’s in every camp of the oplitical spectrum who will reject what she see as a right.

If one promotes promiscuity, an act that should be reserved for the privacy it deserves then advocates it as a virtue so liberally, equate it with democratic and liberation feminist doctrines, typically using women’s rights and democracy as a fig leaf, the cover will eventually fall. It will fall off just as it did for Elizabeth.

This is an issue she cannot simply internalise or localise to suit her own personal situation. As a public figure she is public property. Thats a fact of the life she chose for herslef.

The western model of liberalism that she and Anwar promote has its pitfalls. It may be okay to “let a thousand flowers bloom” as Mao proclaimed during the cultural revolution. A philosophy of harnessing then unleashing unbriddled youthful energy against established conservatism. Elizabeth and Anwar exploited it for their powerbase wihtout realising the beast could well turn on them which it did.

What about the young men and women who are exploited daily whom Elizabeth paid lip service to? Prostitutes held to ransom by Tai Kongs and OKT’s? the police protection of money lender sharks, the murders of young people in police custody? they don’t have that luxury of switching boyfriends and living out of wedlock for all to see? again they do not rate for moralist politicians like Elizabeth Wong, Anwar, Theresa Kok and that old fool Kit Siang.

Why should anyone see her misfortune as anything more than something to chat about in coffee shops today and forget about tomorrow? she too after all engaged freely in unsubstantiated claims against other public figures. “The chickens perhaps have come home to roost”.

This is Malaysia where there are no privacy laws or did Elizabeth just have a rude awakening about privacy laws (or the absence of it in Malaysia?). Remember what happened to the former MCA chief ?. This scandal will circulate throughout the world.

Some will see Elizabeth as a martyr of free and unbriddled passion in bed, a carefree soul who cares little about discretion and then uses the effect of her indiscretion as a political tool to further her dying popularity.

Elizabeth Wong, who from Australia’s universities where she learned her craft, has failed to realise that she cannot change a conservative culture that is Asia overnight with a foreign degree, foreign ideas and then seek to impose it on the vulnerable, the youth. Together with freedoms come responsibility.

At least in consolation I can say this. if she and Theresa Kok both ran down the streets of KL naked, it will be the offence for which attention will be drawn to them and not for anything else. Nothing personal;. But learn to be discreet and not to champion those causes that end up biting one in the Behind.

Elizabeth has chosen to excise my commentary from her blog just as those other “democrats and champions of freedoms of expression and free speech” Lim Kit Siang, Theresa Kok and Raja Petra Kamaruddin. All of whom have also barred any comment from my iP address chosing instead to brand me an UMNO apologist. That’s their idea of diversity of opinion and freedom of expression.
